Record Aloud Bible Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 11, 2026

FCI Inc. (Factory of Creative Imagination, the “Company”) values the privacy of users of Record Aloud Bible and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws.

Article 1 (Core Service and Recordings)

  1. The Service is available without registration.
  2. Recordings and ordinary reading records created by users are stored only on their devices and are not transmitted to or collected by the Company’s servers.
  3. When a user enters a nickname, the app-generated UUID, nickname, and nickname key may be processed to prevent duplicate nicknames and identify the user within the Service. The nickname may also be displayed to contest participants.

Article 2 (Contest Participation Information)

When a user enters a six-digit code to join a Bible reading contest and submits reading results, the Company processes the following information:

The contest nickname, ranking, number of verses submitted, and latest reading date may be displayed on the contest ranking or participant screens. The latest submission time may be displayed on the user’s own screen, and ranking CSV files contain rank, participant name, and verse count. If a user does not join a contest, contest-related information is not transmitted to the Company’s server and ordinary app features remain available.

Article 3 (Processing Contractor)

The Company entrusts the following personal information processing tasks for operation of the Service:

Article 3-2 (Service Usage Statistics)

The Company may store backup execution counts, backup types, Bible types, processed item counts, processing times, and Bible content download counts in Google Firebase to improve the Service and understand usage. These statistics do not include the audio content of recordings.

Article 4 (Google Drive Backup and Restore)

When a user signs in to Google and initiates backup or restore, recordings are transferred directly between the user’s device and the app-specific storage area in the user’s Google Drive. Files do not pass through the Company’s servers, and the Company cannot store or access them. Users may revoke access at any time in their Google Account settings.

Article 5 (Advertising)

The Company uses Google AdMob to provide the free Service. Google may process IP addresses, advertising or app/device identifiers, advertising interactions, diagnostic information, and approximate location for ad delivery, analytics, and fraud prevention. See the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Article 6 (Provision to Third Parties)

The Company does not sell or provide personal information to third parties. However, processing by the contractor in Article 3 and the advertising service in Article 5 may occur within their respective scopes, subject to applicable law and each service’s policies.

Article 7 (Deletion)

  1. Contest information is automatically deleted by contest after 31 days have elapsed from the end of the contest.
  2. Electronic files are securely deleted so that they cannot be recovered or reproduced.

Article 8 (User Rights)

  1. Users may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of their contest information.
  2. To request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of contest information, email the six-digit contest code and the nickname used in that contest. The Company will verify the requester and process the request without undue delay.
  3. Google Drive access may be revoked directly in Google Account settings.

Article 9 (Security Measures)

The Company takes appropriate technical and administrative measures, including access restrictions and protection of data in transit, to prevent loss, theft, leakage, alteration, or damage.

The Company may amend this Policy to reflect changes in law or the Service. The effective date and material changes will be announced through the Service or website.
